Take Me Tacos
When a client approaches you with a new taco ghost kitchen concept, you don’t ask questions! Talk about a dream project! Take Me Tacos is the brainchild of Shannon Bowman, a long-time friend of BLB and owner of multiple food ventures here in Columbus including Bentos Catering and Taranto’s Pizzeria. With Take Me Tacos, she’s flexing her catering chops and delivering build-your-own taco party packs combined with the convenience of DoorDash.
The Problem
Shannon was launching Take Me Tacos from the ground up, she had the idea and the name - and that was about it. To launch the brand successfully she was going to need a logo, brand system, packaging, website…the works! She retained BLB to help out through the entire process. We even volunteered to taste test the menu! For research purposes, of course. Our ultimate goal became to elevate the delivery experience to be on the same level as the amazing food.
Our Solution
With the name already decided on, the first order of business was to brand the company. The running taco immediately rose to the top during the sketching phase and while we ended up sticking with a custom wordmark for the main logo, we know that little guy had to make it into the brand somewhere! We developed a full suite of packaging and swag for Shannon to use when packing orders. We also paired the physical items with a fantastic digital experience! BLB created a small but mighty website for Take Me Tacos that introduced the company, the food, and - most importantly - linked out to the respective delivery platforms so people could order! All of this, done in tandem with some great PR work by Kristy Eckert, resulted in a fantastic launch that drummed up a ton of great press.
